Oh what a party! You all put together the best reunion yet for the 50th. Anyone who wasn't there will just have to rely on the comments of those of us who were, to describe the happy event - from the pre-party and after-party receptions to the full blown '60's gala itself. I felt as I had died and gone to heaven and there were my Largo classmates resurrected, only 50 years older! {But even more fun!] Of course, the magic did not just happen. The Save-the-Date cards were mailed out August 24th to the 200 classmates that we have a mailing address for with a pre-stamped & addressed Reunion Questionnaire. The Registration packet letter was mailed out October 26, 2010 with the registration form to return with your payment to attend the reunion.
We still need your help! Since our 40th reunion, many of our classmates have retired and moved or changed email addresses. We're trying to get the word out to all LHS '61 classmates who would be interested in attending the 50th reunion. Although we found many, we're still missing over 100 classmates. So, please, start spreading the word by contacting any classmates you have kept in touch with and ask them to contact Richard Stephens [who is keeping the master contact list] so we can keep everyone informed! Please check the "Whatever Happened To" page and if you know the whereabouts of another missing classmate, please send an email to Richard at rstephen@tampabay.rr.com with the following:
