About the Holiday Inn Harbourside

The Holiday Inn Harbourside offers a fabulous Key West style open air restaurant with nightly entertainment, 3 outdoor bars, an indoor lounge, fitness center and 2 heated pools. The hotel sits on the Intracoastal Waterway and offers a fabulous view of the ships in the harbor - while being only steps from the beach. They offer volleyball and tennis courts, a game room and their very own atrium 18-hole Putt-Putt golf course!

Besides the two on-property restaurants at the Harbourside, there are several restaurants within walking distance as well. You can walk to Crabby Bills (Seafood), PJ's (American Cuisine) or Villa Gallace (Italian).

Located approximately 20 miles from Tampa airport the hotel does not provide airprot shuttle service, however the Supershuttle is more than reasonable at $25 each way.

Suncoast Beach Trolley

Easily the best way to get around from Indian Rocks Beach, without driving a car, is to use the Suncoast Beach Trolley. The trolley will take you to great fun spots like: Pass-a-Grille, John's Pass Village, Sand Key Park, and Madeira Beach to name a few. The bus and trolley fare is just $1.75 per ride [for seniors 65 and over it's only .85 cents], or ride all day with an Unlimited Daily GO Card. GO Cards are $4.00 and are available onboard the trolleys, buses, or at various locations countywide.

You can explore all of the unique beach communities from its beginning at Park Street Terminal in downtown Clearwater to Pass-A-Grille. Check out the shops on Corey Avenue, enjoy the sights at John's Pass Village, or just take in a beautiful sunset. It's the fun, easy, and affordable way to do and see everything you want to on the beach. The cities that are not served are Kenneth City, Belleair Beach and Bellair Shore.

The beach trolley runs every 20 - 30 minutes from 5:05 a.m. to 10:10 p.m., Monday through Sunday, including holidays, with service until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Look for special trolley bus stop signs located frequently along the route. In addition to the services along Gulf Boulevard, connector routes run between the coast and downtown St. Petersburg.
